Wild birds can suffer stress when a lot of birds are crowded at a feeder, this feeder is large enough to relieve a little of that stress. The mesh used in the tray is large enough to act like a sieve, with a quick shake you can sieve out some of the seed husks, dirt and even light snow, also helps to dry out wet seed.

Made out of 3/4'' pine, it is constructed using screws. The tray is partially tinted a redwood color and protected with a water proofer/sealer.
