Bat houses that are stained are to be used in areas of the country where avarage July tempreatures are in the mid 90's or below. If your area has higher tempreatures, leave the bat house it's natural light color or stain it a light color, or request us to stain it a light color.

Our bat houses are caulked to prevent unwanted draughts, they have a slanted roof to shed rain quickly thus keeping the inside dryer and prolonging the life of the houses.
