Bluebird Bird Houses. #102-0
These tapered Bluebird bird
houses, shown here with a green tint roof and cedar tint body, has a smaller floor than the standard 4x4 box. Though it is
well suited for Bluebirds, it has the advantage of not being as desirable to such invasive birds as the sparrow. This house has a flat back (no over
hanging roof) so it can be hung on a tree or post, it also has a hanging bracket to make hanging easier. If used for decorative
purposes it could be hung on a house. This house has our usual side clean out door, rough interior, Bluebird sized entrance
hole (11/2'') Very well constructed out of 3/4''
Maine pine that has been protected with a coat of waterproofer/sealer that will aid in keeping the nest box dry, and to last
for years. The construction methods used in handcrafting this house, as in gluing joints, secured with screws, enable it to
provide a great home for your Blue bird visitors.
